Using a variety of learning methods, we, as  educators are able to reach a greater number of learners in the ways they best learn. After all, this is what education is all about—helping your children to learn.

The holistic methods for learning are based on your children's  learning styles, such as visual, audio and kinesthetic learning, to make education more efficient and effective. 

Verbal/Linguistic Learners relate to words and language, both written and spoken. These learners learn by saying, hearing, and seeing words.

Logical/Mathematical Learners work well with thinking and reasoning, numbers, logic, problem solving, and moving from the concrete to the abstract.

Visual/Spatial Learners  rely on their sense of sight and ability to visualize an object. They create mental images,learn by drawing, and designing.

Musical/Rhythmic Learners recognize tonal patterns. They hum or sing move their bodies while they study.

Bodily/Kinesthetic Learners need to touch, move, interact with space, and process knowledge through bodily sensations. With hands-on activities, such as sports, dancing, acting, and crafts.

Interpersonal Learners communication are a must for interpersonal learners. They thrive on group activities.

Intrapersonal Learners thrive by working alone. They have a great degree of self-understanding and they rely deeply on their instincts.

Naturalist Learners assign projects that require activities and hands-on activities that are based on nature.

Four Personality Types - Order seekers, Debaters, Groupies, and Loners.

* Order Seekers - like lectures and linear, sequential thinking

*Debaters may be more like verbal/linguistic learners. Bodily/kinesthetic learners and musical/rhythmic learners may also be debaters.

* Groupies want to get involved with hands-on experiential learning. Like interpersonal learners, they  need to work in cooperative learning groups.

* The Loners are independent, self-directed learners. These intrapersonal learners will engage in self-paced learning with minimal guidelines.
