Holistic approach to child development addresses the physical, social-emotional, intellectual, spiritual aspects of the child’s life and to develop academic capacities as these are required to live in the modern world.

Children grow through stages of development, this involves learning self respect and self esteem.  Building  relationships with families and friends.

Learning about resilience - overcoming difficulties, facing challenges... Appreciating the beauty around them and cultures are natural part of life..

Aman Ceria's holistic child development programs incorporate a variety of approaches to help educate your  children to achieve their full potentials and learn skills essential for lifelong success.

The program seeks to educate the 'whole child' by providing an enriching, nurturing, developmentally-appropriate educational environment where your children can play, explore, create and learn.

The Four Areas of Holistic Development:

Social-Emotional Development-

Self Awareness, Empathy, Social skill

Research shows that the care received in early childhood is crucial to brain development, social and emotional development.

Children’s early social and emotional development depends on a variety of factors, including genetics, environment and the community.

Social skills and emotional development are very important part of kindergarten readiness. Warm and attentive care shapes your children in ways that will affect them for the rest of their lives.

Children develop socially and emotionally during their Kindergarten years. In  the beginning of the year, some children may be shy and appear to lack initiative.

As they come to know their teachers, and  their peers, they begin to establish friendships. They'll start to show interest in group activities such as cooking, nature studies, sports, gardening, imaginative play, games...

Social skills are an important component for successful living. The skills are in their abilities to learn through discovery about the world in which they live and to share their ideas with others.

Emotional development is the process of learning how to understand and control their emotions. Most children are able to express their emotions through verbalizing.

Social emotional development helps shape your children into what they will become later in life by teaching proper reactions to emotional matters.

Physical Development -

Good Nutrition, Exercises, Physical Skills

Nutrition plays important roles in development of your children. The rate of growth however, depends on the nutrition that they get as well as their genetic background.

Good nutrition is of greatest importance between one to six years of age, which is the formative stage when physical growth, as well as physical skills develop quite rapidly.

Children vary a great deal in their physical development  and abilities. Some are slow and cautious about trying new things. Others seem to accept any challenge that is presented.

Large-muscle or gross-motor development  refers to physical skills that use large body movements, normally involving the entire body. For example the use of muscle groups in the legs -running, swinging, climbing, jumping, or arms -throwing, catching, digging, pushing etc.

Small-muscle or fine motor skills are necessary to engage in smaller, more precise movements, normally using the hands and fingers. For example creating things with the hands, build towers out of blocks, mould clay etc.

Fine motor skills are different than gross motor skills which require less precision to perform.

Many studies have shown that physical activity provides a powerful stimulus to the brain. This is not surprising as brain cells require an adequate flow of blood to ensure healthy development, especially in children.

Physical development  programs offer great potential for enhancing the capacity of your children's minds and bodies. Healthy minds and bodies are basic to academic success.

Intellectual Development -

Developing Visual and Auditory Memory

Intellectual development refers to the growth of your children in such a way that their brains become capable of understanding, analysing and evaluating concepts to make sense of the world around them.

It is how your children develop skills like concentration, ability to learn, communicate, solve problems, able to make judgements and reach conclusions.

And is rooted in cognitive and developmental psychology, based on the studies of Jean Piaget who stated that children learn by building upon previous knowledge and experiences.

According to Piaget, children must be actively involved in constructing their own knowledge because they understand only what they discover or interpret for themselves.

Intellectual development occurs when your children are actively involved in hands-on, real-life experiences. They continue to advance their skills in observing and interacting with the world around them.

It is a gradual and continuing process. The children intellectual development is reflected in the rapid growth of vocabulary and the power to express ideas.

The intellectual growth of Aman Ceria Kindergarten children comes  from exploration, discovering, investigating and learning.

Spiritual Development -

Integrity-Character Building, Purpose of Life

Nourishing spiritual development in our children have multiple benefits. Children who experience spiritual growth do better emotionally, academically and socially.

Spiritually, children develop as they grow in understanding - compassion, kindness, self-awareness, patience, knowledge and wisdom.

Teaching our children about one's own culture is paramount. It is also important for them to learn about other people's cultures as well.

Exposing them to other people's cultures help develop children's tolerance and appreciation of cultural differences and diversity. This is important in today’s diverse society.

Children  learn to appreciate all kinds of differences - not just racial and cultural but also the differences in socioeconomic levels, and disabilities.

They  become aware that individuals and families may have different spiritual or religious beliefs and these differences should be respected.

Spirituality is a state of connectedness to all life, honouring diversity in unity. Teaching our children to forgive others is the best way to achieve peace of mind and live a stress-free life.
