Creating music as well as developing the children's musical knowledge and understanding. * Art and Craft handworks, develop children's natural inclination and artistic skills through aesthetic perception and creative expression. Environmental and Community Awareness The program leads them to work and explore individually and within a group. Enhance their knowledge and understanding. Providing a foundation for historical, geographical, scientific and technological learning. * The children go for nature walks, field trips to zoo, bread factories, ostrich farms, museums, and many other areas of interest. * Children learn through discovery and to share their ideas with others. * Environment Studies promotes critical thinking skills and science knowledge through an inquiry-oriented approach. * Learning outside the classrooms enables children to engage in exploring, investigating and experimenting with it’s environment * Social Studies children learn to cooperate, negotiate, share and to help each another. Personal and Social Development We foster the emotional, personal and social development of the children and help them to gain and develop a positive attitude to learning about the world in which they live. At all times children are encouraged to work, play and co-operate. * Play helps children to learn and allows them to enjoy, feel competent and in control of their world * Emotional Intelligence (EQ) learning helps children become more sensitive, empathetic, respectful, responsible, kind, caring and peaceful members of the community. * Cultural activities and experiences increase children's awareness, understanding and appreciation for the other cultures Physical Skills and Well-being Physical education, develop and enhance skill acquisition, balance, coordination, strength, growth. And fine motor skills, spatial awareness, confidence building, flexibility, and much much more. The children develop physical control. This promotes mobility and awareness of space together with improving manipulative skills. * Children love their daily games, sports, nature studies and gardening as well as the cooking lessons, art and craft activities. * Fine-motor activities emphasize motor control, precision, and accuracy of movement. * Using a computer mouse, cutting with scissors, and drawing are the foundational skills needed for the demands of handwriting. * Gross-motor development requires thought and deliberate movement, such as throwing, catching, kicking are fundamental cross-motor skills. * Social Studies - children learn to cooperate, negotiate, share and to help each another. |
