Happy Family Fun Day was held on Sunday 23rd May, 2010. It was a beautiful day. Parents and families were very supportive and we had a lot of fun together. The highlight of the day, was our sports events, the children ages two and a half to six performed 'One Malaysia Mass Drill.' The parents joined the children for the finale. Parents and families cheered their little ones taking part in the team sport. Loud laughter filled the air as families participated in the amusing challenging games. Pupils started off with a March Pass , sang the National Anthem, school pledge and welcoming songs. Besides the children's team events, we had parents, ladies and men competing with one another in the challenging games. We also had the teens ( boys group and girls group) challenging each other as well as the old pupils sports event. Everyone had a whale of a time, the winners and the participants received trophies and hampers. The hampers were sponsored by Giant Permata. After the sports, children took their parents to see their art and craft exhibition. They presented hand-made gifts to their parents to express their love and appreciation to their moms and dads. This year our art and craft projects were the' Animal Theme'. Morning and afternoon pupils combined to create a masterpiece entitled 'Animals Around The World'. The pupils worked enthusiastically to make a world map collage, they painted the oceans and coloured pictures of animals. Each class created their own animal theme such as 'My Pet Shop', 'The Ocean Creatures', 'At the Farm', ' The Rainforest Animals', ' The Extinct Animals' and 'The endangered Species' Children's creative artworks, paper crafts , mobiles were displayed together with their science projects: 'Senses Discovery', 'Seeds and Plants, 'Floating & Sinking', 'Volcano' and other fun science project. We give credit to our teachers and the children exemplary performance and sportsmanship. We are very grateful for the co-operations, kind help and assistance we received from parents and families. Parents, children and teachers contributed to the success of our " Happy Family Fun Day ". |
